Dear Hood,

Under my hood is a melting lock

waiting to let free a caged animal

Under my hood is a powerful mind with scars

My hood is dark black

My hood has a spiral window without a soul

Then my hood fades and I see a bright afternoon sky

outside of the hood

I move forward out of darkness

into light

I now regret being under that hood

At one point in time, I never knew

outside of the hood existed

but now I will say farewell

to you,

the hood.
