fading moonlight reflects off a puddle,
souls slowly lose their breath,
walls collapse and lose the battle to gravity,
the touch of impermanence is inescapable.
the present moment and impermanence
are the only permanent forces,
holding onto a passing part of reality
is solely a hopeless fight.
