When I go to the beach,
I hear the screaming and roaring waves
calling out my name and the
hot and spicy sun gazing into my soul.
Everything draws me in:
The sand crunches like an
Apple baked in the oven of the beach
And people picking up shells like
sweet and beautiful flowers
I hear kids screaming like
thunder and lighting.
They blend together like
salt and sugar.
As the melting sun goes down
everyone settles down
And the sand becomes cooler
as the wind and the waves become calmer
and quieter.
But when I leave the beach
my heart starts to shatter into pieces
and I feel like a knife was just thrown
my stomach.
The beach is my happy place
And I want to be there
forever.
